This sprawling Albertan rancher features burnt larch siding, a rusted Corten steel roof and reclaimed timber flooring. We used rough-sawn live edge siding and distressed doors for a rustic, authentic look.

Our clients desired the house addition not to be seamless, but to compliment – as if the cabin had been there for a long time. Incorporating modern lines with historic and traditional building materials, the emerging architecture style is entirely unique and unmatched.
